Another year and we are getting older but that's a good thing as we are not getting dead. And we are still learning new things so I thought it would be fun to start a birthday blog instead of sending cards back and forth as we can attach photos.
2017 was a momentous time for our family with both sadness with the passing of my mom and joy with the birth of Matt and Mollys twins. They named the first Evelyn after my mom and the second Vivienne after Rob's mom. Ali and Greg became engaged and he moved into her condo. They work together and are perfect for each other. They are planning a small March wedding. Rachel and Sandi and Serena and Izzy moved to Urbana Illinois as Rachel accepted a new teaching position at the University of Illinois Champagne-Urbana. Jon and Dani and her daughter moved in together and moved to a new house in Waterloo, Canada. He is well on his way to Canadian citizenship. As to Rob and I same old same old. We do a lot of biking and some of the time together. Thankfully we have no major health problems and are able to jet set among our kids and their families. A highlight of this past summer was spending a few hours with you in Cleveland. It was great but not enough time so we will have to plan for a longer visit. Love you and wish you a most happy birthday with only blessings in your future. And here are a few photo highlights from 2017:

Spring 2017, Rachel and Jon and their families visited my mom. She was healthy
until her last days and stayed in her condo the entire time as was her desire.
